Roof-mounted centrifugal fan with backward-curved impeller and vertical discharge. Housing made of weather-resistant AlMg3 aluminium with a very low overall height and hinged fan unit. The discharge side is protected against contact, contamination and other foreign objects by a bird and contact-protection grille. Base plate made of galvanised sheet steel with deep-drawn inlet cone and pre-installed threaded studs for connecting duct flanges and accessories in accordance with DIN 24154 / EN 12 220. The fan is designed for easy installation on the roof base (available as an optional accessory) without having to remove the housing.
The efficiency-optimised impeller with backward-curved blades is mounted on the rotor of a voltage-controllable external-rotor motor. The impeller and motor are balanced in two planes to quality grade G 6.3 in accordance with DIN/ISO 1940. The drive motor is fitted with maintenance-free, sealed ball bearings with lifetime lubrication. Motor protection is provided by thermal contacts integrated into the winding and internally connected in series. Electrical connection is via the cable routed out through the base of the housing. A lockable isolator switch is integrated into the housing and therefore well protected.
